Stained glass has always had a magical fascination for the eye and soul of the
beholder -- from the inspiration of the medieval cathedrals to the works of Louis
Comfort Tiffany to the modern artists who have made stained glass available to every
admirer in many different forms and uses.
Terry Mullady joined the fascinated group of stained glass artisans more than 25 years
ago. With new church window construction and her work in many private collections, she
has also taught classes in many institutions and has written an instructional book.
Always looking for new applications for the stained glass, she has recently combined her
love of gardening and stained glass to create these stones for the garden. They are truly a fun
(and we find, very practical!) addition to any garden.
As you can see by the pictures, our garden stones share an inspiration with our animals. Another resident of our garden kingdom is a horse named "Figgy", who is pictured at the right sharing birthday cake (carrot, of course!) with Terry.
